Prayer Room Makeover
When we moved into our house for some reason the first room I wanted to tackle was the “flex” room. This was mainly because I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. After some thought, and Pinterest info of course. I decided to make it our “Prayer Room”. I wanted it to be a cozy little space where we could read, pray, and enjoy!
First, I picked out some wallpaper from our local Sherwin Williams. I went with a fun but peaceful green damask. This was a bit of a task because the ceilings are pretty high, but I got it done and was in love!!
One day when Luke was out golfing, I decided I was going to make a window seat all by myself, LOL. I went to Lowe’s and bought all kinds of wood. Surprisingly, I was very successful!!! Then of course Luke came home and needed to fix just a fewww things!!
Once the window seat was made, I went to Hobby Lobby and got some cushion foam & fabric! With the wallpaper being a bright color I went with just a simple off white for the window seat cushion. I just used some fabric glue and a staple gun for this.
After the cushion was made and added on, I added the curtains with some cute gold tassels, we added hanging planters from the ceiling for some greenery, shelves for books & more plants, a gallery wall with all black & white photos, and Luke’s grandfather game him some hand drawn vintage lady portraits which matched the vibe of this room perfectly! I added some gold frames and some window seal items and the Prayer Room was complete!!!

Can’t wait to share more soon!!
